Abdul Gafoor Veetil DVM PhD
Veterinarian
Dr. Abdul Gafoor Veetil ( Dr. G / Dr. Gafoor) graduated with his DVM from India in 2002 and practised mixed animal medicine for almost 5 years. He then moved to the US and completed his PhD in Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences at Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Virginia Tech focusing on cancer biology and immunology (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=abdul+gafoor+puthiyaveetil).
Dr. G then served as a university professor and department chair in Dubai before moving to Canada in 2018. He then worked at University of Toronto as a researcher in lung transplantation research.
Dr. G moved to Chatham in 2020 and worked in different clinics in the Chatham Kent area as a small animal veterinarian. He is interested in providing affordable care for the small animal pets in the Chatham-Kent area .
Dr G enjoys star gazing and photography while not at work.
